Concerning ever- increasing population of the world, natural sources of water, energy, and farmland are not sufficient for social needs. Nowadays, about 600 million people suffer from malnutrition all over the world and this number is peredicted to be doubled until coming twenty years. Generally, food industrials expansion and development, requires changing, producing and processing of foodstuffs and drinks, and change in the way of using and foodstuffs technology development structure.
Estahban province is the first and the most important fig-bearing area among Iran and the world, by having 2200000 (two million and two hundred thousands) fig trees, produced by dry farming, inthe area of 22000 (twenty two thousands) hectars. Fig production by dry farming in this area is 20000 (twenty thousands) tons now, so it is the highest production rate in the world. Estahban fis is unique in the world from the view point of type and quality, therefore it is one of the important export items among dried fruits.

Our Company:
Pursuant to intentions of high-ranking leader and president of the Islamic Republic of Iran about creating occupation, economy, and optimum use of sources for safeguarding the economic independence which is the base of social and political independence and by ambitions of compassionate works of the Islamic Republic Of Iran, we started to produce the project of fig production unit and Fig Masqaty in Iran for the first time, after years of scientific researches and experiments.
By having food industrial , microbiology and agriculture experts and engineers , this company had been able to prepare the formula of more than 10 fig products such as fig Masqaty  , marmalade , biscuit , honey , breakfast chocolate , cookie , jam , syrup , compote, and fig powder , until now. Now, it is starting to produce fig Masqaty, and other types of products is available in the company . Also, our company has done some activities in packaging and producing of wet and covered fig and packaging dry wet in paper bags in various weights and packages, the details are mentioned in the site. Also, the research section of this company did some researches and mentioned that they do not use gas (Metil Bromide) in their activities. These researches gained suitable and noticeable results and were taken in to consideration by Agriculture Jihad, Fig Research Section, and Health Organization.
